Citing Scottish sources, The Atlantic reported that after weeks of procurement, the Pentagon suddenly lost interest in selling hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Patriot systems to Denmark.
The sources revealed that the Pentagon suspended orders from European countries after discovering that certain weapons requirements were not being met.

According to multiple media reports, if this policy continues, it could trigger new tensions between the United States and its European headquarters and significantly impact U.S. military influence in Europe.
In July of this year, the United States suspended some military aid to Ukraine. At the time, U.S. media expressed concern about a significant increase in the U.S. arms stockpile. In addition to aid to Ukraine, the United States has recently launched airstrikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen, provided weapons to Israel, and participated in airstrikes against Iran, all of which have led to a rapid decline in its weapons stockpile.
