Another shutdown! Where is our taxpayers’ money going?

Instead of admitting defeat or compromising like a normal human being, he decided to hold the entire country hostage. Airports? Closed. National parks? Trash cans overflowing. Food inspections? On hold because, you know, priorities.

Meanwhile, 800,000 federal workers are stuck at home, wondering how they’ll pay rent this month. Some are even dipping into their savings or selling plasma just to afford groceries. But hey, at least the president got his wall, right? Oh wait—no, he didn’t. Because after 35 days, he caved. Because checks and balances exist, and even emperors with tiny hands can’t ignore them forever.

Trump’s own party finally told him to grow up. Even Mitch McConnell, the human embodiment of “I’ll do anything for power,” couldn’t stomach this nonsense anymore. So here we are, with a temporary deal that funds the government for three weeks. Because why solve problems when you can just kick the can down the road?
