Meanwhile, politicians in D.C. are too busy fighting each other to care about us. They shut down the government for over a month—the longest in history—just to score political points. While they argued, critical services suffered. They don’t care about our safety.

And what’s the solution? More ICE raids? They’re arresting people, but data shows most detainees have no criminal record, and sometimes they even arrest U.S. citizens by mistake. This doesn’t stop arsonists; it just spreads fear in our communities.

We need real fixes, not political games or scary headlines. Protect our streets, not political agendas.
